Haines's Paper label on verso numbers the view 49 and provides manuscript title: "State St. Albany N.Y. Capital[?] in distance." Multiple clocks hang from storefronts on the viewer's left. -- And 2 views of Broadway Street, showing offices and storefronts draped in mourning. Haines's paper labels number the views 51 and 52 respectively, and provide the same manuscript title for both: "Broadway Albany N.Y. North from Argus Building."
